Oliver is CEO of Koa Health, a company delivering mental wellbeing for everyone. Working as a doctor in NHS psychiatry, he became interested in digital health and joined the McKinsey HealthTech Practice, spending five years before serving as Director of Public Health in Abu Dhabi, where he used data to tackle diabetes, heart disease, cancer, infections and mental health. Since moving back to Europe in 2013, Oliver has worked as an advisor to the WHO, NHS England and the Wellcome Trust.
Olivier Gien is the Global Head of Digital for General Medicines, Sanofi’s largest Business Unit. Based in Paris, he holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence applied to Organic Chemistry. Dr Gien held several leadership positions at Sanofi, where he led globally Information Technologies for Discovery Research, Clinical Development and the Medical function before taking his new role last fall.
Among others, Dr Gien led the development of the first Translational Medicine Platform at Sanofi, kicked off the Digitization of Clinical Trials effort as well as the development of the first RWE platform of the company. For 4 years, he was the Chairman of the PRISME Forum, a professional organization gathering most of Pharma R&D Technology leaders.

É presidente da Associação Portuguesa de Hospitalização Privada e vice-Presidente da UEHP. Membro da Comissão Executiva da CIP e do Conselho Económico e Social. Vice-Presidente do Conselho Estratégico de Saúde da CIP, membro do CN de Saúde Pública e dos Conselhos Cons do IHMT e da Fac Farmácia UL. Presidente do CF do ISBE e administrador da Fundação do Gil
