She is evaluator/reviewer for the European Commission, Eureka, AAL and EIT Digital; member of the Expert Team developing the EU Ethics framework for the ICT Profession, as external expert for CEN/CENELEC; and Team Leader of the group of experts designing the Reference Guidelines in the Field of Ethics, Data Privacy and Security, contracted by the AAL Programme; as well as member of the Standing Committee on Policy and Advocacy of the International Health Literacy Association.

Catherine Chronaki is the Secretary General of HL7 Europe and the current President of the European Federation for Medical Informatics (2020-2022) A Computer Scientist by training, she is active in Digital Health Policy and Standards. She led the Trillium project on International Patient Summary standards under the EU-US MoU on eHealth. Now, in x-eHealth, she co-leads work on innovative communities of practice for the European EHR exchange format. In the FAIR4Health project she is responsible for the certification roadmap for FAIR health data sets. She serves on the eHealth Stakeholders group of the European Commission.
Ceri Thompson is Deputy Head of the eHealth, Well-Being and Ageing Unit in DG CNECT and works towards the digital transformation of health and care. Ceri has previous experience at Eurostat, and for DG SANTE in the Commission. Prior to joining the EU institutions, she worked on global health policy at the UK’s Department for International Development and for KPMG’s international healthcare practice, as well as on epidemiological research projects in the UK and Brazil. She studied Maths at Durham University, UK and then Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Dr. Charles Gutteridge received his degree in medicine from Cambridge University in 1976. He has worked for most of his career as a haematologist in East London and has also held exciting leadership roles in the UK National Health Service. He was national clinical director for informatics from 2010 through 2013. Dr. Gutteridge is currently the chief clinical information officer at Barts Health NHS Trust in London, a role he loves because clinical informatics is now at the forefront of every branch of medicine.
Dr Gutteridge joined SNOMED International as the clinical lead for EMEA in 2017 and has worked to raise the profile of SNOMED CT among the clinical communities across Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has a passionate interest in encouraging the development of SNOMED CT for the benefit of clinicians and to support the improvement of patient care.
Conor O’Shea is a general practitioner working in Drogheda, 50 kilometres north of Dublin.
He also acts as the National Co-ordinator of the GPIT group of the Irish College of General Practitioners, and is a member of the Governance Board of the Irish National Contact Point for eHealth
